Championships
Our Senior Footballers Championship run came to an end on Saturday evening with a 2-10 to 0-5 defeat at the hands of Duhallow at the quarter final stage..
Our under 21 hurlers had a good win over Mayfield in the Championship and now face Glen Rovers in the semi-final..
Despite a spirited second half performance our Minor Footballs went out of the Championship to Eire Og on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-6.
Well done to our Senior Footballers for their extra time win over Dohenys in Kilmurray on Saturday. They played excellently all through but particularly in extra time to win on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-12.
Our Minor Hurlers were comprehensively beaten by Blackrock in the Premier Minor Hurling Championship on Wednesday evening on a scoreline of 2-16 to 0-8.
Our Junior B Hurlers kept their hopes of making it three in a row Championship titles with a 1-10 to 0-9 win over Douglas Tuesdays semi-final. They now await the winners of Whitechurch and Mayfield in the final.
Farranree Credit Union Fe 11 Tournament
The Farranree Credit Union sponsored Fe 11 Hurling Tournament takes place on the 23rd and 24th of August. This year Kilmacud Crokes, Naas, Killeagh, Midleton and Sarsfields take part in what promises to be a great weekends hurling.
Minor B Championship Winners
Well done to our Minor B Hurlers on winning the City Championship last weekend, defeating St Finbarrs in a well contested final.
Fe 14 County Final
Well done to our fe 14 Hurlers on their win in the County Final On Saturday. They won on a score line of 3-13 to 1-12 in an exciting game against an excellent Midleton team.
Team Captain Danny Morrissey in his acceptance speech, dedicated the win to their first coach and former selector Abie Allen.
Abie Allen
It is with with deep sadness that we learned of the sudden death on June 26th of our Club President Abie Allen RIP.
Abie worked tirelessly at underage level at the Club for over 40 years and was a lifelong Club member. He will be deeply missed by all at the Club and is truely irreplaceable.

Feile na nGael
Well Done to our Feile na nGael team for producing some brilliant hurling in qualifying for and contesting the Final on Sunday. They were denied victory by an controversial injury time goal, losing to James Stephens on a score-line of 1-7 to 1-6.
Well done to all concerned for a magnificent effort.
And a sincere thank you to our hosts for the weekend, Mountmellick who gave us a great welcome and who's hospitality was second to none.

Pat Kelleher Tournament
The Pat Kelleher under 13 hurling tournament took place in the Club on Saturday and Sunday 14/15 June. This year the Club welcomed O'Donnovan Rossa's from Belfast, Kilmacud Crokes from Dublin and St Finbarrs, with O'Donovan Rossa winning the title in a thrilling final v Kilmacud Crokes.
St FInbarrs won the plate final defeating Na Piarsaigh.

Paddy Moore Tournament
The Paddy Moore under 10 hurling tournament took place at the Club on Saturday 8th June. Na Piarsaigh were joined by Aghada and Midleton and all three teams served up a great days hurling, with Midleton winning the trophy for the first time.
Jack Lynch Tournament
The Annual Tournament for the Jack Lynch Cup took place in the Club on the June bank holiday weekend. Under 12 teams from Kilmacud Crokes, Killeagh/St Ita's, Father O'Neills and Na Piarsaigh competed with Killeagh/St Ita's taking the title for the first time in a thrilling final win over Na Piarsaigh.
Cork Feile na NGael
Comhgairdeas to our fe 14 hurlers on their win in the county Feile na nGael final over Sean Clarachs/Charleville. Thereby winning a record 13th Cork Feile title. We now travel to Mountmellick in Co. Laois for the finals from 20th to 22nd of June.
Fe 16 Hurling League 2007
Comhgairdeas also to our fe 16's won the Liam Connery Cup for the 2007 hurling league, beating Blackrock in a great game, after extra time in Ballinlough.
They completed a great year for the Club in underage hurling, by being the fifth team to win league honours in 2007, following on wins in the 11, 12, 13 and 15 grades.

Comhgairdeas to Cian Buckley who captained the Seandun fe 15 hurling team to victory in the Dick Barrett shield over the weekend. Well done also to Anthony Dennehy, Liam Connery and Graham Long who played their parts in Seanduns win.
Tony O'Sullivan Tournament
The Finals of the Tony O'Sullivan Tournament were held on Sunday last.
Camogie
Well done to our Feile na nGael Camogie team on reaching the Division 2 Final. However they went under to a stronger Mallow team.

John Gardiner new Cork Hurling Captain
Congratulations to John Gardiner who has been announced as Captain of the Cork senior hurling team for the 2008 season
His appointment as captain is a great honour for John, his parents John and Eleanor and for Na Piarsaigh and the members of the Club are delighted that he has been chosen to lead Cork in 2008.
Johns honours include a County Championship medal in 2004, three Munster titles, two All-Ireland winners medals and a GAA All-Star in 2005.
We wish him well in his new role in 2008.
Liam Connery Tournament Finals
The Finals of the Liam Connery Tournament for 8 and 8 year olds took place in the Indoor Hurling Arena on Saturday 8 March.
Underage Registration
Underage registration for boys aged 5 to 10 takes place every Sunday at the Club between 11am and 1pm.
Application forms are available at the Indoor Arena.
Tree Planting Ceremony
Ard Mhaor Corcaí Cllr Donal Counihan performed a tree planting ceremony at the Club as part of the Northside Environmental Enhancement Plan.
GAA Questionnaire
The GAA have announced details of a new online questionnaire which seeks the opinions of GAA members and the general public on how the Association is perceived and on its role in moden Irish society.
